LEARNING THE TECHNIQUE
Before you start with Nordic-walking, it is very important to learn
the correct technique. An incorrect technique and wrong movements
are often difficult to correct later on. You should therefore start
off on the right foot by taking courses organized by ANWI
instructors with an international INWA certificate.
D.O.C.G. instructors teach the original, Finnish style Nordic
Walking technique.
To learn Nordic-walking, the TREMOSINE CULT-WALKING CENTER offers
three options:
- Nordic-walking course: 2 days, approximately 3 hours
per day (Basic Nordic-walking, Technique 1, Technique 2), with
the possibility of obtaining the ANWI diploma and the
“Nordic Walker” title.
(The “Nordic Walker” title is a registered trademark and
guarantees privileged participation in events, meetings, etc.,
organized by ANWI/INWA)
Cost: 55.00 Euros for the course, pole rental and fanny pack with beverage
included.
- Short tour for learning Nordic-walking, approximately 1.5
hours.
(Basic Nordic-walking).
Cost: 10.00 Euros, pole rental and fanny pack with beverage
included.
- CULT-WALKING / Nordic-walking excursion: 3 to 4.5 hours with lots of information about TREMOSINE -- its culture,
history, flora and fauna, geology, the lifestyle of its people – and, of
course, a basic lesson to learn the Nordic-walking technique.
Cost: 20.00 Euros, pole rental and fanny pack with beverage
included.
Prices are per person, with a minimum
of 4 participants and a maximum of 15 persons. Individual excursions
in the mountain and for just one person are available on
request.
